"Max Out" Madden '14

Pepsi Max has an important strategic relationship with EA’s Madden NFL Football series and we’ve all seen a ton of ham-fisted attempts at product placement in movies, TV and games. Bearing that in mind, how do you integrate Pepsi Max into Madden 14 in a way that is not just annoyance free, but also adds to the game?
That’s what my team was tasked with. We didn’t have a ton of time, and yes, we spent several days playing Madden while our co-workers cursed us, but in the end we’ve got several cool ideas including a second screen experience using SmartGlass, Xbox Live Avatar gear, an online play creator, and a YouTube choose-your-own adventure.
